We provide care for birth through 6th grade after the Sunday song service. Our nursery is staffed with trained volunteers to create a safe, nurturing environment for our tiniest members. Toddlers through 6th grade participate in age-appropriate lessons that include Bible stories, crafts, games, and snacks.
Students ages 12 - 20 are invited to engage in relevant discussions and activities led by our youth pastor on Sunday mornings. We also meet regularly during the week at Powerhouse, a gathering with games, food (of course), and Bible study. There are many opportunities to get connected such as our upcoming New Year’s lock-in trip to Amarillo, summer camp, and other events.
We have an amazing group of men who serve our community well. The purpose of our men's ministry is to help men rise up and build strong relationships with other men. Some of the ways we connect include a monthly breakfast, annual rally and special events that all men are invited to attend.

We have an active ministry to women led by a great group of women who are hearing God and finding new ways to connect together and create bonds. There is a monthly women’s Saturday morning coffee, and an annual retreat that all women are invited to attend.

If you would like to connect in Independence, Missouri or Shawnee, Kansas, or are interested in starting up a home group in your area, please contact us and let us know. Home fellowships provide opportunities for people to connect and help new members build relationships.
